Il Brand viene fondato a Milano nel 2013 dal Designer Statunitense Virgil Abloh, dopo la precedente esperienza con il progetto Pyrex Vision legato allo Streetwear.

Il nome “Off-White” indica la zona intermedia tra Bianco e Nero, cioè uno spazio ibrido tra Streetwear e Lusso, tra cultura giovanile e Alta Moda.

Il Brand si distingue per un linguaggio visivo fortemente riconoscibile, caratterizzato da virgolette, grafiche industriali, nastri, frecce e uso concettuale del testo. Le collezioni uniscono Workwear, Sportswear e abbigliamento tecnico con un’estetica da passerella, contribuendo a ridefinire lo Streetwear nel sistema del Lusso.

The name “Off-White” refers to the space between Black and White, representing a hybrid zone between Streetwear and Luxury, youth culture and High Fashion.

The Brand is defined by a highly recognizable visual language, characterized by quotation marks, industrial graphics, zip ties, arrows, and the conceptual use of text. The collections combine Workwear, Sportswear, and technical garments with a runway-inspired aesthetic, helping to redefine Streetwear within the Luxury system.
